A New Sill!

I've been working and working and working...
at Fry's.
hmpf
I'm finally OFF a day!
First things first....a new POST!
I wanted to show yousomething we spied outside...

Is that three bears you see???
Yeah!
Terry carved these for a customer.
Even the little campfire.
Pretty cute, huh???

Then... HAD to share this picture of a real cutie that visits us...
she has her 'gampy's' hat on!
That is Peyton.

I LOVE wood.
Especially RAW.
And OLD.
Below is a picture of our living room window [sill]
with the [boring to me] white walls

I've painted the walls...
and 'mentioned' to Terry that I 'needed' a rustic sill...
and 'just like that'
(not really tho.. it took a few mentions and a few weeks!)

There.
A 'new' sill on top of the old...
and pretty teal/blue walls!

The little table you see is for the kiddos.
We had it in Oregon.
It has three little log stools.
And the first thing the kiddos asked us when we came here...
was
'where is our table???'
Whenever they come over...
they are there... eating or playing.
Mr. Bear joins them sometimes.

More to come tomorrow!

Maybe, just MAYBE
I can finish the curtains for that window you saw!
today???

thanks for visiting!

  1. Cute Bears! Windowsill is AWESOME! What color/brand of paint did you use? I am thinking of doing my kitchen blue. I don't like the yellow in the kitchen, because it clashes with the brown tile/countertop. LOVE the yellow everywhere else. And I REALLY like your blue. ;o)
