These chairs are carved from the bottom part of cedar trees. Cedars have the distinct look of the roots spreading out above the ground. He cuts them close to the ground, and ends up with this look. The back of these are even more 'rooty'.These are for a customer, so they are SOLD.
We call them 'meditation chairs' as they are quite comfortable, and they support your back, and 'make' you sit up straight.
