Make 'n Take, Sat. April 25 1-3pm

What can you do with THIS stuff?
I'm teaching a few techniques here!
Alcohol ink on the frames.
Embossing with ZING! on the bird and with the stamped [chandelier]
Using a mask... with a monogram!
I'm gonna start EARLY... about a half hour before... 'cause this is gonna take a bit of TIME for everyone. I'll have THREE tables too. More people.

This is a sample of what you can do! It's on a 6x12 page.. that you can even fold in half to make a 6x6 card! You can use whatever color of Distress Ink you want. Choose black or teal or ??? for the chandelier.
Here is a finished sample of the above. I added a photo. (4x4) And a bit of lace and ribbon, another stamped image and lots of pearls!

And here you can go even a step beyond on your own, once you've tried those techniques! The 'birdie' word is using the monograms (alpha by Tim Holtz), and embossing! (IMP: remove the monograms after you apply the Versamark... BEFORE you apply the powder and heat!). The 'collection' is using 'thickers' by American Crafts. And more stamping!

You should try some 6x12 pages. They are fun, fast, easy.. and you don't feel so over-whelmed by all that SPACE of a 12x12 page. And the books are much less HEAVY.

  1. No NO NO!!! You want to remove the monograms BEFORE you apply the powder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!! It will ruin the monogram!
